  • About The Role

  • We’re looking for a passionate, driven Recovery Worker to join our integrated healthcare team on a Full Time (35 Hours) basis delivering high-quality psychosocial drug and alcohol interventions for adults.

This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to support individuals on their recovery journey using client-centred, evidence-based approaches that balance harm reduction and abstinence, tailored to individual need.

You’ll manage a dynamic caseload, delivering structured 1:1 and group interventions while working collaboratively across healthcare, housing, probation, employment and community services to ensure holistic support.

You’ll play a key part in achieving service targets, measuring outcomes, and maintaining high standards of care, quality, and compliance.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Conducting risk, initial and comprehensive assessments
    • Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans
    • Delivering structured 1:1 sessions and group programmes
    • Providing harm reduction advice and health risk management
    • Coordinating care with healthcare and partner agencies
    • Supporting clients with housing, benefits, employment and training referrals
    • Monitoring progress and reviewing treatment plans
    • Meeting KPIs and contributing to service performance targets
    • Maintaining high-quality case management documentation (including NDTMS reporting)
    • Participating in audits, safeguarding processes, and reflective supervision

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience working with substance misuse and complex needs
    • Strong assessment and case management skills
    • Confidence delivering group-work and structured programmes
    • Ability to build effective multi-agency partnerships
    • Strong IT and record-keeping skills
    • A proactive, solution-focused mindset
    • Commitment to safeguarding, quality, and continuous professional development

You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team where reflective supervision, strong line management support and continuous professional development are prioritised.

We offer ongoing training (including safeguarding refreshers), opportunities to work flexibly where service needs require (including occasional evenings and weekends), and the chance to work across cluster services to ensure continuity of care. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference every single day.

If you’re motivated by impact, thrive in integrated services, and are committed to empowering people to achieve sustainable recovery, we want to hear from you.
