  • Do you believe recovery is more than treatment, it’s about rebuilding lives?

We’re looking for a Recovery Navigator based in East Kent to join our Recovery Support Team, supporting people with complex needs to transition, thrive and settle back into the community.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you’ll work across Forward Trust services in East Kent, using a person-centred, holistic approach to help individuals sustain long-term recovery and reach their potential.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Deliver tailored, inclusive recovery support through 1:1 work, group sessions and interventions
    • Complete robust assessments and co-create bespoke recovery plans

    • Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies across East Kent (housing, probation, DWP, rehabs)
    • Facilitate and contribute to Forward Trust’s online day programme
    • Promote and support Forward Connect activities, events and reunions
    • Support peer mentors and volunteers, helping build strong recovery communities
    • Keep accurate records, manage caseloads and meet agreed targets

    What we’re looking for

    • Experience supporting people with substance misuse and complex needs
    • Strong assessment, engagement and communication skills
    • Ability to work flexibly across services and adapt to changing demand
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach
    • Confidence working independently while staying connected to your team

At Forward Trust, you’ll be part of a values-driven organisation that believes in second chances and real, lasting change. You’ll do meaningful work every day, supported by a passionate team, with opportunities to grow, develop and make a genuine impact on people’s lives across East Kent and beyond.
