About the Role
The Forward Trust is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to provide comprehensive business and administrative support to our Swale service, which delivers community-based drug and alcohol treatment, including medically assisted treatment.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service by providing a range of administrative and secretarial support, maintaining accurate records, undertaking data entry and supporting the collection, monitoring and reporting of key performance information.
You will contribute to the monitoring of targets set by Forward Trust and local commissioners, helping to ensure that service outcomes are accurately recorded and reported. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and partner agencies, including clinical teams, will be essential to ensuring information is shared appropriately and the service operates efficiently.
You will be responsible for maintaining databases, collating statistical information, preparing reports and correspondence, and supporting administrative systems to ensure information is accurate, up to date and readily available when required. You will also handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion, following relevant policies and procedures.
The role will be primarily based in Sittingbourne, with occasional cover required at other sites across the East Kent region to support service continuity during periods of staff absence. Flexibility, effective time management and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment will be key to success.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a service that supports individuals affected by drug and alcohol use, helping ensure that effective administration underpins the delivery of high-quality treatment and recovery support.

You will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, responding to changing priorities and working independently to ensure deadlines and service requirements are met.

- Confidentiality and Professionalism: Previous experience working in a confidential or secure environment is desirable, with an understanding of the importance of handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Organisation and Prioritisation: The ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and maintain effective administrative systems while adapting to changing service needs.

Above all, you will be committed to providing a high standard of administrative support, understand the importance of accurate data and effective communication, and take pride in helping a busy service run smoothly.
If you are organised, adaptable and motivated to use your administrative skills to support services that make a positive difference to people's lives, we would welcome your application.
